We understand that video needs on campus continue to grow, especially in the midst of this global pandemic, and our video team has been working on new policies and guidelines to ensure the safety of your team, as well as ours. Below is some information on what we are doing, our current video production process and recommendations for your department as you plan your upcoming video projects.
To ensure the safety of all of those involved, Printing Services has adopted the following guidelines for all on-site video recording. These safeguards follow guidelines outlined by the University of Minnesota, the Minnesota Department of Health, and the CDC.
Make sure you are feeling well before coming.
Avoid physical contact while on-site.
Please check your temperature before arriving.
Everyone should wear a mask unless on camera.
Sanitize all equipent before each shoot.
Wipe down furniture used in between each shoot.
On-site team uses new sterile masks for each shoot.
On-site team uses hand santizer every 30 min.
Keep people attending to a minimum. No spectators.
Space out interviewees to provide time for santizing.
Reserve large room to ensure social distancing.
Interviewer may attend remotely via Laptop or iPad.
*Our team can set up a laptop or iPad at the correct height to keep eye contact for the interviewer to attend remotely via Zoom or Google Hangout.
