Create a Video Template

We start out by creating a video template based on the data and message you’d like to use. The template can use video, animation, audio, photos and other graphics.

There is also no limit to the number of templates that can be used. Within the data we can specify for each entry which template to use, so if you want to break them up into different groups — no problem!

Merge the Data

Once the template is finalized, we are ready to run the data. This is a fairly automated process, but can take a few days, as the system needs to render each video individually.

To prepare the data, each variable element needs to be in its own column. If we are pulling variable files (such as images, videos, audio files, etc.), their needs to be a column with the filenames. There also needs to be column with a unique file name for each entry. You can create these with a random function, but they need be saved as an .CSV file to make the random alphanumeric filename be perminent.

Hosting the Video

There are several options for hosting the video:

• Option 1 – Printing Services Hosts: We are able to host the video on our servers and provide dynamic links for each video created.
• Option 2 – You Host: If you have your own method for hosting video, we can easily share the videos with you. Host them on your servers or upload them to an online sharing platform, like YouTube, Facebook, etc.
• Option 2 – Combination: Another option is for Printing Services to host the videos, and your department can import the content into Drupal to create a search function to display any of the videos.

You Send Your Mailing

Whether it be an email mailing or print mailing, sending the individual links is as simple as merging the updated data with the personlized links. Simply send them through your email platform or use a personalize QR code on a postcard.
